The executive chef used to cook in Oversea Restaurant. We always makan at this restaurant as the food's good and convenient location (near uncle's house).
We were there again earlier after visiting grandma in Damansara Specialist.
We had a Jellyfish Yee Sang to start off the dinner. It is my third time having yee sang even though new year is more than a week away. This yee sang tasted pretty good too. Its plum sauce is neither too sweet nor too sour. Very appetizing indeed.
Then we had a pork dish. I don't exactly know that it's called. If not mistaken, its Cheong Pau Yuk (braised pork). It tasted pretty good too. There isn't any pork smell like you can taste in some restaurants. I often find that smell foul, like it's not cleaned properly.
Next up was the Turbo Fish. Haha, in Cantonese, it is called Toh Bou Yue. This is my first time having such fish. From the aquarium, it swam like a stingray. And it's an expensive fish, priced at RM198/kg! In Unique Seafood, it is even pricier! Anyway, the flesh tasted very tender too, better than garoupa.
We also ordered the steamed eggs. This was pretty normal. However, I find that there were too much century egg. If you're ever in Damansara, do drop by. And if you're a UOB card holder, you'll get a 3% rebate for lunch only :)
