Eating out: Cocos Cafe

I just came home from Ipoh yesterday. It was good to see all of my relatives again. My grandmother is in good health and the operation removing the lump was a success! Thank God! Mom's brother, Uncle Johnny opened a cafe in Ipoh last year. This cafe is located right opposite Tesco in Ipoh.

Cocos Cafe opens from noon till late. My aunt oversees the beverage counter and kitchen so that everything is in order. We went there for dinner on our first night in Ipoh. It gets pretty crowded over the weekend. So be there early...

This is the interior design of the cafe. It is done by my cousin, who's a designer located in Ipoh. Cozy ain't it?

There is also sofa for those who prefer quieter ambience. Bring over your wine and the waitress is more than happy to welcome you here. Or, just order one of the specialty drinks from Cocos Cafe.

There are more than 80 choices: from sandwiches to Asian food to steaks. We had few dishes served in claypot, Chinese cabbage in Cantonese style, chicken chop with mushroom sauce and noodles. As for the prices, it is very reasonable and good news is that, no price increase after the petrol price hike.
