Eating out: Sushi Zanmai

I was in Midvalley today for my facial treatment. After being pampered for 2 hours, I met my parents for lunch. They had already started eating when I got there, hmph! I sat down and quickly grabbed a plate of sushi from the conveyor belt *chomp chomp* I always have a thing for Japanese food. Mind you, this is my second time to Sushi Zanmai in a week ;)

Dragon roll, priced at RM12.80

This Dragon roll has only 4 pieces on the plate. The chef only dashed mayonnaise. I had to dip this into sweet sauce to kick out the flavor out of the shrimp :p Whereas the one in Rakuzen has 6 pieces. Nicely served with pickled young ginger and it comes with a price too.

Caterpillar roll, priced at RM12.80

Caterpillar roll is another makimono we ordered. It tops off with riped avocado slices *yumz* Definitely taste better with sweet sauce. We also ordered salmon toro sashimi and other sushis. Pardon the photos, I was too consumed with the food, I forgot to take photos :Þ

Sushi Zanmai is located on the third floor in Gardens, right next to Borders. They can also be found in Sunway Pyramid and New Wing, 1Utama. Right now, it is marking its first anniversary. A gift voucher of RM20 is given away to each bill above RM100. Hurry!
